Kapurthala, border district Ferozpur etc. After successful service, retirement has done on 29 Feb 2008.

During his tenure, Mr. Rajesh Bhagat attended a course on Communication Systems conducted by ASEA BROWN BOVERI LIMITED Power System Communications, Mumbai, India from 6th October 1998 to 16th October 1998 and he received a certificate for this.

Mr. Bhagat served as a member Dispute Consumer Redressal Forum (Now Dispute & Redressal Commisssion) at Ludhiana for about 5 years from 29th December 2008 to 6th September 2013.

In his tenure numerous cases were heard and decided in matter pertaining to women and children. The cases were mainly related to medical deficiency in service Insurance Polices Accidents, P.S.P.C.L., Banks, Financial Companies, Improvement trust and other companies. In these cases utmost care was taken about special needs of women , children and public. In cases deficiency in insurance, Banks, Hospitals, Accidents about children were also heard and special care is taken about their welfare.

Many cases related to School Fee and other article purchased by students was also heard and utmost care was taken. Medical deficiency was also noticed in children cases and benefits were given to poor and needy people.

In permanent Lok Adalat, mid-day meal problems of the children was noticed, dealt and decided and care was taken about the welfare of the children. Children who purchased consumable and non-consumable items where deficiency and unfair trade practice were found, the case was heard and welfare of the children was taken care. The utmost care was taken in Lok Adalat cases where medical negligence and deficiency in insurance, Banks, Accident, P.S.P.C.L., etc. were found and benefits where given to needy people.

Chief Minister Punjab government conferred and honored state award Praman Patra on him on the eve of Independence Day 15 August 2019 at Guru Gobind Singh Stadium state level function at Jalandhar in recognizing his social service to society which include children.

Rajesh Kumar Bhagat is into social service for the last 45 years. He is a retired government employee and has also worked in Permanent Lok Adalat and Consumer court. He has been organising medical camps, providing stationery free of cost to the poor students, giving lectures to the school students on how they can become good citizens.

Bhagat has also extended helping hand by providing aid at border areas.
